Everybody is talking and speculating about Breaking Dawn. No official news regarding the movie has been released by Summit Entertainment but it is unlikely they will give up on the cash cow that turned the independent studio from an unknown rookie into one of the most renown and talked about in last two years. Twilight was a low budget movie because Summit Entertainment was not sure whether the following that the books of Stephanie Meyer rendered would also purchase tickets to see a movie. By now we all know how it went down. Twilight became a blockbuster and turned Summit Entertainment into a multimillion dollar enterprise.
As result, New Moon was a high budget movie and the following that Twilight generated grew even bigger to have New Moon gross more than $481 Million worldwide in just first two weeks. Eclipse, the third installment is set to release in June 2010 and is expected to outdo New Moon. It’s quite possible that it will become the most commercially successful movie of all times. As such, Summit Entertainment is not gonna pass up on Breaking Dawn – the fourth and final book in the Twilight Series.
Latest Breaking Dawn movie news has it that Summit Entertainment is deciding whether to split Breaking Dawn into two separate movies or film it as one mega movie. Summit has contracts with all principal cast (including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner) for four features. If the decision is made to split Breaking Dawn into two movies, the contracts of the most talked about actors would have to be re-negotiated. Stay tuned for more Breaking Dawn movie news coming up shortly.
