Bryce Dallas Howard Will Replace Rachelle Lefevre in Eclipse
Rachelle Lefevre who played a role of vampire Victoria in Twilight and New Moon will not star in Eclipse. She has been replaced by another redhead – Bryce Dallas Howard, the daughter Richie Cunningham. Summit Entertainment, the production company behind the Twilight Saga issued a press release stating that Rachelle Lefevre will not be shooting Eclipse due to “scheduling conflicts” so Bryce Dallas Howard was cast to take over her role.
Hmmm, scheduling conflicts? That’s a funny code language for “she asked for more money so we showed her who the boss is and got her ass fired.” That’s what it sounds like to me. Rachelle Lefevre was dedicated to the Twilight Saga and would certainly find the way to complete the trilogy. There is more going on than mere “scheduling conflicts”.
That being said, we may not find out the real reason behind the replacement of Rachelle Lefevre by Bryce Dallas Howard until all madness surrounding the Twilight franchise settles and bad blood cools. Bryce Dallas Howard is a great actress, though. She was in new Terminator movie and looked great. Even though I do realize that most Twilight fans will not be impressed with departure of Rachelle Lefevre. Once you get used to a particular actress, it’s hard to accept a substitution.
I’m really looking forward to Eclipse. It will be directed by David Slade which kicks major bottom. With Rachelle Lefevre or without her, Eclipse will be the best of the three (as far as cinematography is involved). Good luck to Bryce Dallas Howard in her quest of becoming Victoria. She’s got a tough job ahead of her getting accepted by Twihards.

Actually, I head that Rachel LeFevre signed on for another movie that was no way near where Eclipse was being filmed and she didn’t let the Twighlight people know ahead of time. So, they booted her.

i don’t really think they should’ve replace rachel lefevre, she just looks more like a victoria. whatever.
