Alan Cappelli – Robert Pattinson’s Body Double in Italy
The guy in the photo above is a young, upcoming Italian actor Alan Cappelli who has reportedly been hired by Summit Entertainment to be the body double of Robert Pattinson on the set of New Moon in Montepulciano, Italy. Alan Cappelli was in an Italian TV commercial but other than that doesn’t have much acting experience. The reports say that Alan Cappelli starts his body double work on the set of New Moon on May 21, 2009.
He looks nothing like a typical Italian to me, but has a aura going for him and a great deal of “sexy” if you ask me. Granted, he won’t be himself in New Moon. He will be camouflaged to make the viewer think he’s Edward Cullen so most of us will never know which scenes were shot with Alan Cappelli and which had real Robert Pattinson, but who cares. Final result is what counts and we all know New Moon will be amazing. As for me, I’m looking forward to Eclipse more than New Moon because of a simple reason – David Slade.
