Based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, the New Moon Movie Script has been written by Melissa Rosenberg, who also wrote the script for Twilight movie. Melissa Rosenberg has extensive script (or screenplay) writing experience. The titles she was involved with include (aside from Twilight saga movies, which are likely her biggest scripts to date) several episodes of Dexter (which she also co-produced), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, The magnificent Seven, and more.
New Moon Movie Synopsis
Bella Swan recovers from a vampire attacks which she suffered at the end of the Twilight movie. With her 18th birthday coming up, she’s looking to celebrate it with her beloved vampire Edward Cullen and his family. The celebration turns dangerous when Bella cuts herself on a paper and her blood is spilled. The Cullens, who have worked so hard to beat the temptation of human blood and fed themselves strictly on animal blood (aka vegetarian vampires) find themselves in an extremely intense situation with Bella’s blood being right in their sight. Unable to resist his instincts, Jasper Cullen attacks Bella.
Believing it’s the best for Bella’s safety, The Cullens decide to leave Forks, Washington. With Edward being away, Bella finds solace in Jacob Black who happens to be a werewolf. As time goes by, Bella breaks promise she gave to Edward just before he’d left when she said wouldn’t do anything reckless or stupid. Her excuse for breaking the promise is that Edward broke his promise when he left her after promising he’d be there for her for as long as she wanted him.
Living reckless life, Bella goes cliff diving for fun. However the news that reaches Edward leaves that part out and he only gets the part that Bella jumped off the cliff. Unwilling to live without the love of his life, Edward travels to Italy where he’s set to provoke the Volturi clan of vampires so they could kill him. Edward’s sister Alice then finds Bella and the two begin a race to the city of Volterra in Italy to stop Edward from getting voluntarily killed.
The New Moon Movie script is without doubt fantastic and there’s a promise the movie itself will blow us off the socks. The release date for the New Moon movie is set for November 20, 2009.
