There’s been much speculation regarding New Moon Set Location and not that production of New Moon has started, the speculation increase in numbers. Where is New Moon being filmed? Where in Vancouver? Does anyone know exact location where all New Moon cast and crew are? Some say they are filming in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, other’s say that producers chose Vancouver Technical Secondary School as location for footage of school sequences with Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. The fact is – Summit Entertainment has purposefully kept this information a secret and understandably so. Fans feel strongly about Twilight movies and if New Moon set location became public knowledge, emotions would take over rational thinking which could hinder production of the movie.
While I do think they will not be able to keep the location a secret forever – Vancouver is a big city and Twilight fans are determined, so sooner or later someone will find out – I can appreciate that being able to work uninterrupted would secure timely and professional product. That leads me to believe that it’s in our foremost interest to make sure the location is not made publically known for as long as possible. Summit Entertainment would be forced to hire more security personnel and possibly build higher fences in order to block fans from obstructing production.
Good news is – New Moon cast live in Vancouver – which is logical since they are filming in Vancouver. So on their days off, residents will be able to have random encounters with them. Imagine meeting Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson in local restaurant. OMG
