Did you miss me? I went on a trip to Iceland for almost 2 weeks which is why there were no updates to Twilight Series. I left off just as the First Official New Moon Footage was released. Full lenght, official release of the New Moon Trailer was then premiered at the MTV Music Award and the video of it is below.
The official New Moon Trailer starts with the preview footage. Short clips from Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) birthday follow, including the paper cut and a drop of blood. Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) attacks Bella and Edward (Robert Pattinson) interferes in order to protect her. He then promises Bella not to put her through any of this again and pledges that she will never see him again. Laurent (Edi Gathegi) then speaks to vulnerable Bella questioning Edward’s love for her since he left her there unprotected. Laurent uses the fact that the Cullen clan is gone and attempts to attack Bella but is turned away by Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) who jumps at him and turns into a wolf in a great special effects sequence.
As expected, New Moon Trailer broke all the records. It was streamed millions of times immediately after being released on line. I expect that once Twilight Saga: The New Moon is released in fall, it will be the best earning movie to date. The anticipation is immense, the popularity of Twilight series unparalleled. New Moon will be a smash hit beyond reckoning. This surely puts great amount of pressure on director Chris Weitz but hopefully he is handling it well and the official release will beat all expectations.
