Canadian supermodel Noot Seear has been cast to play the role of Heidi in New Moon. Heidi is described by Stephenie Meyer as beautiful “fisher” with exceptional, unforgettable beauty. In the New Moon book, Heidi is an irresistible human bait who seduces other humans to bring them as food to the Volturi vampires.
Noot Seear Bio
Noot Seear (whose real name is Renata Seear) is a 25 year old beauty from Vancouver, Canada (where New Moon is filmed). She has dark blonde hair and blue eyes. He body boasts perfect measurements of 34-24-34 (according to One Model Management – modeling agency that represents Noot Seear).
Noot Seear stands 5’9″ tall. She started modeling when she was just 13 year old. In order to fast forward her modeling career, Noot Seear moved from Vancouver to New York. This proved a fruitful move as it landed her spreads in prestigious magazines like Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan and Elle. She was also featured in ad campaigns of world’s top designers, including Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani, and other ads by Pantene and Vera Wang Bridal.
The runway portfolio of Noot Seear includes names of world class designers like Alexander Wang, Lanvin, Balenciaga and Ralph Lauren.
Heidi in New Moon
AnnaLynne McCord was also rumored to have been one of the candidates on the role of Heidi in New Moon. AnnaLynne is best known for her role as Naomi in 90210 and is rumored to be the girlfriend of Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett Cullen in Twilight series. Kellan Lutz will likely be disappointed that AnnaLynne McCord didn’t get the role, but I’m sure New Moon casting director René Haynes knows what she’s doing and opting for Noot Seear will surely prove to be the right decision.
