Fans Line Up to Stephenie Meyer and the New Moon Cast at David Thompson secondary in Vancouver

As soon as the news of New Moon production team filming at David Thompson Secondary in Vancouver broke, the school has been a hectic place. Twilight fans from all over the place gathered round to get a glimpse of the cast and it paid off. Not only many Twilighters got to see the actors, many also saw Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer at David Thompson.

Stephenie Meyer is without doubt very busy these days as filming of New Moon is well underway and she’s also working on another book. Still, being the author of the book and co-writer of the script, Stephenie Meyer was seen at David Thompson Secondary with her watchful eye overlooking the set.

Students at David Thompson and other Twilight fans who couldn’t miss this opportunity saw Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) even though there was no sight of Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen).

The cafeteria and halls at David Thompson have been redecorated to look like the high school at Fork, Washington where school sequences of New Moon will take place.
