As an actor, Robert Pattinson puts everything into his work. And it was no different in Little Ashes where he plays Spanish artist Salvador Dali. When time came for Robert Pattinson to film a man on man kissing scene with Javier Beltran who plays writer Federico Garcia Lorca – Dali’s lover, RPatz went right for it. This is how you tell someone is a good actor.
A kissing scene between Robert Pattinson and Javier Beltran lasts for over a minute. It’s dark outside and both Salvador Dali and Federico Garcia Lorca are shown taking a dip in the ocean (or some form of body of water – can’t tell for it’s too dark). The two just sort of perform graceful moves in the water and as tension increases, they keep getting closer and closer to each other until they end up locked in a passionate kiss.
Directed by Paul Morrison, Little Ashes takes place in Spain of 1922 when country was supporting Fascist Germany. Salvador Dali (Robert Pattinson) was 18 year old at the time and moves to Madrid where he plans to go to university. Soon upon his arrival, he catches attention of poet writer Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) who’s considered social elite at the Residencia de Estudiantes’ (student’s residence). At the same time, Salvador Dali also manages to catch attention of filmmaker Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty) but because of developing relationship with Federico Garcia Lorca, friendship with Luis Bunuel becomes strained.
What started as a friendship between Salvador Dali and Federico Garcia Lorca, develops into a more personal matter after the two spend Summer by the sea, at the village of Cadaques.

Check out the audio with radio host Holly Conway from The Beat 94.5 FM in Vancouver who talks about her encounter with Robert Pattinson. Holly Conway was with her husband eating at Rodney’s Oyster House – a busy restaurant in Yaletown part of Vancouver when she saw Robert Pattinsons and other cast from the set of New Moon walk into the restaurant to have a meal. She didn’t want to disturb him during eating but grabbed at the opportunity when he stepped out to have a smoke. She walked out and had a chat with RPatz and talked about it on her radio show.
I listened to the audio and it almost gave me rabies. Holly Conway sounds very irritating and the way she talks reminds me of a 13 year old girl. Vancouver is a great city, but obviously their radio DJs suck. Unless The Beat 94.5 FM is a radio station for kids of sorts. It must have been nice to meet Robert Pattinson at any rate. Thanks for sharing, Holly Conway… even though you really sound irritating.
It’s really difficult to decide whether Robert Pattinson looks hotter when shaven clean or when he keeps his beard. There is something incredibly sexy about men who keep themselves “quote to quote” dirty. And I’m not paraphrasing the ridiculous claims that Robert Pattinson stinks, because those were just fabricated rumors with uncertain intentions.
New issue of Dossier Magazine features photos of Twilight star Robert Pattinson which show very mystique and sexy side of RPatz. Dossier is a magazine that’s only released twice a year – one to go with Spring Fashion Week and one to go with Fall Fashion Week. It focuses of fusion of fashion with photography, literature and art in various shapes and forms. Photos of Robert Pattinson were taken for Dossier Mag by Theo Wenner.

Check out this really cool interview with Robert Pattinson by May edition of Glamour UK. Smartly titled Interview with a Vampire, it reveals bits and pieces from RPatz’ life not many fans know about him. I particularly enjoyed the part where he talks about his cross-dressing experience. Must have been quite an experience.
It’s also funny how he was thrown aside for Daniel Radcliffe. While I have utmost respect for DanRad, Robert Pattinson has definitely matched his stardom to the stardom of Daniel Radcliffe and it’s just gonna get better with each new release of Twilight saga.
And don’t even get me started on arse massage. First day on set and he already rips his arse cheek so bad he needed an arse massage? Who was the masseuse? Lucky girl/boy whatever their life path.
