Kiss from Robert Pattinson Sold for $20,000 at an amfAR Auction in Cannes
Would you pay $20,000 to get a kiss on the cheek from Robert Pattinson? I know that getting kissed by a vampire would be extraordinary. The only thing better would be to get bitten by a vampire and join him in an eternal love, but let’s not go this way yet. During his short stay at 62nd film festival in Cannes, Robert Pattinson showed a great deal of support for charity and helped to raise money for amfAR – The Foundation for AIDS Research. And what did he offer up for auction? A kiss. And not just an ordinary kiss, it’s a kiss on the cheek. Two people offered $20,000 for a kiss from Robert Pattinson and all this money will go to amfAR in support of AIDS research.
I know that those two will have an experience of a lifetime, but $20,000 for a kiss on a cheek? Hopefully Robert will make it a little more exciting and won’t just touch their face with his lips, cause shelling out $20,000 in this economy isn’t a small coin. It really deserves a passionate and long lasting kiss. I’d give anything to be in the place of the receivers, but maybe I’ll get a chance at some other occasion. Those who have seen Little Ashes will know what an excellent French kisser Robert Pattinson is.
