Robert Pattinson Says Twilight Gave Him Direction in Life

Robert Pattinson says that his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight Series has given him direction in life. Before Twilight, Robert Pattinson didn’t know what to do with his life and feared that he would turn into a layabout who does nothing more than bum around at home. Since premiere of Twilight, the stardom of previously hardly known British actor took a whole new dimension and launched him into being one of the most loved male actors today. When asked about it, Robert Pattinson stated:

Sometimes you just don’t know where you’re going in the world. Before I got the role in Twilight I didn’t really know what I was doing. I didn’t really know if I did want to be an actor, I hadn’t gone to university, and I was just bumming around and not feeling particularly good at anything. But at the time I was desperately thinking that I would never reach or achieve my own goals that I had set for myself.

I don’t think there is any more questioning of “goals achieved”. Robert Pattinson is only 23 year old but he’s already achieved more than most of us in our entire lives. And it all started with his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight
