British actor Robert Pattinson who portrays devouring vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga movies is rumored to stink really bad. Entertainment Online was the first to bring the story of reeking Robert Pattinson up, claiming that an unnamed co-star from the set of New Moon reported to them that Robert Pattinson stinks. You know what I think of this unnamed co-star? I think his words stink. What is the best way to attract attention? It’s by stirring up controversy. The more controversial soup you stir, the more spotlight you get. So at times when eyes of every teenage girl are locked on Robert Pattinson it comes as no surprise that someone would come with a rumor that he stinks. Such claim will offend so many, it’s guaranteed to get attention. That’s what I think is really happening.
Anonymous crew member on the set of New Moon literally told E! Online that “He (Robert Pattinson) completely reeks”. The anonymous went on to say that he never showers, making ET staff compare him to the likes of Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves who are notorious for spending extended periods of time without showering, causing them to stink really bad during filming on the set.
Given the circumstances, I truly doubt these rumors are true. Someone maybe caught a whizz of some weird smell and turned it into a big deal. It happens to the best of us who give everything into what they’re doing that we’d sweat. Sometimes conditions you are working in make you sweat more than normal, but that doesn’t mean we don’t shower. Add to it the fact that source of this rumor is dubious – I believe we can all strike this rumor as over-exaggerated bogus. Does Robert Pattinson stink? Get real… he’s a vampire. Vampires don’t stink at all
